Privatizing Social Security. A solution to a criminal retirement system.

After looking at some Blogs these last few days I have seen numerous comments on how President Bush has not done anything for America. Well I'm here to tell you that he has tried, his modest plan to privatize Social Security would have been a step in the right direction, but was shot down by the liberal media and Democrat sound bites..... I hope you have taken your Heart medicine and blood pressure pills when you read this next summary. Prior to the Democratic controlled Congress closing the Social security loophole, public employees could opt out and set up their own retirement plan. Galveston county in Texas and 2 others did just that prior to 1983. Lets look at the differences: A worker averaging 20,000 a year with 40yrs of work retiring at 65 under the alternate plan would receive a monthly benefit of $2,740 while under Social Security $775.....A worker in the $50,000 a year range monthly benefit would be $6,843 under Social Security $1,302 .....Under the alternate plan those Texas county employees life insurance was 3 times their annual salary to a maximum of $150,000.......Social Security life insurance? a one time benefit of $255. Disability benefits were equally generous and easy to obtain while Social Security disability benefits are very hard to get. ...............Oh and most importantly the alternate plan employees have the satisfaction that its their money and will not be spent on anything but their own retirement and if they are deceased any unused portion will go to their beneficiaries........Ahh but alas the naysayers spin the doom and gloom web and tout Social Security as the most successful Government program ever. I say its criminal as our future workers will not get hardly anything. We have been fed lies about it and soon it will be bankrupt. The Spin Doctors win again as the American Public are mislead again. We need a stronger conservative that George W Bush to shove privatizing Social Security down our throats and stand up to Congress and the Media...........

A NEW ENGLAND LUNCHEON

OK Friends......CJC and I will be in Maine for the month of September near Portland, about 2 hours north of Boston. WE would like to invite all SFFs in the new England Area and those others who want to attend to a Luncheon. It will be on a date suitable to as many as possible like on a Saturday or Sunday. If enough are able to attend we will set a firm date and perhaps arrange an activity or two. weather permitting perhaps a cruise through the many islands in Casco Bay or just a simple shopping spree or sightseeng fling. So let us know and we can set it up.........So Chummies how bout some Lodstahhhhhh???

Stranded on a Desert Island with Hillary

There once was a shipwreck and the only survivors, a man, a sheep and a sheepdog made it to a deserted island in the South Pacific. Each night the three would sit on the beach and watch the beautiful sunset with its cirrus clouds and bright orange colors. After a few weeks the man was having those amorous feelings put his arm around the sheep. Ever protective the sheepdog snarled and growled and bared its teeth at the man. He quickly removed his arm......A few weeks later there was another shipwreck and the only survivor to make it to the Island was Hillary. The man quickly had her to sit on the beach each sunset with the sheep and the sheepdog. After a week went by the man had the amorous feelings again. This time he leaned over and whispered in Hillary's ear " Do you think that you could take that dog for a walk?".......

The National University of Lesotho ( A small country within the borders of South Africa) has revealed that beer contains a female hormone (phytoestrogens), and by drinking enough of the brew will turn a man into a woman. ........To test this, 100 men drank 8 pints of beer within one hour. The following was observed in 100% of the test subjects.
1. Argued over nothing.
2. Refused to apologize when obviously

3. Gained weight
4.Talked excessively without making
sense.
5.Became overly emotional.
6. Couldn't drive.
7. Failed to think rationally.
8 Had to sit down while urinating.
No further testing was considered necessary.....

The results are pretty much in and its about a 3 way tie between he should be fired, he apologized and should not be fired and it was all G W (Great Wisdom) Bush's fault. Personally that was his downfall he wanted to apologize. His critics saw blood in the water and like sharks devoured him. .....Why hasn't Sharpton, Jackson, Limbaugh, Savage, Boortz ect. apologized for their controversial comments? ...... Heard this on the radio the other day...."Why are there no black NASCAR Drivers?" because NASCAR drivers have to sit up straight in their cars......Lets get that guy fired for that insensitivity.

My Marine Corps Mentor.........

....The guy I remember the most in my short 22+ years on active duty in the US Marine Corps was an Old Grizzled Gunnery Sergeant, His contribution to my memory of him was his tried and true words of wisdom that has stuck with me through these many years.....

.....Well on Saturday 24th March CJC and I exchanged vows before friends and family and became husband and wife...... A most humbling experience for me was the group from SFF who made extra efforts to attend, as they endured long distances and the shuffling of schedules. I cannot express my gratitude for them and also the host of others that sent their best wishes in emails, cards and letters....... With all its faults what a great community this is......Although a lot could not attend, Carol and I felt that everyone was there with us in spirit.....

Here we go again in the new 110th Congress. Another attempt to undermine our Commander in Chief. "Only the Baloney" that occurred a few Weeks ago when the Democrats took us to the "Sorry Side of the Street" and they played the "Blame Game" and passed the non-binding resolution on Iraq. "Ain't That a Shame" that we have a new word in our language much like the one popularized in "Mary Poppins", now its "Superfanaticextraunproductivepieceof legislationforus."
Now they want to set a date when our Military must cease and desist protecting our citizens. "What a Difference a Dem. Makes", as they move ahead with the "Smoke and Mirrors Gets in Your Eyes" policy thinking that they are in charge of the Defense Department. If only they could get over their hatred of the President and get back to their responsibility to legislate and not procrastinate. They better be careful "As Their Chewing Gum will Lose its Flavor on the whipping post overnight".
