This so called contest is utter nonsense. It has wasted so much space in blogland. There has to be another venue for such trivial pursuits. SFF should call its self RRFF (Romper Room Friend Finder). It all begun with a poll and that should have been it. I thought Blogs were sharing of ideas, philosophies, opinions and personal experiences...... Now if you had a "Wicked" girl contest that would really get me going.....smile...........How bout some Lobstahhhhh Chummies.

A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. Its downfall is linked to the proposition that once voters realize that they can vote themselves money/benefits from the public treasury, they will vote for the candidates promising them the most......Voltaire said "In general the art of Government consists in taking as much money as possible from one class of citizens to give to the other.".....
A government starts with people in Bondage. From bondage it progresses to Spiritual Faith. From Spiritual Faith to Great Courage, from Courage to Liberty, from Liberty to Abundance, from Abundance to Selfishness, from Selfishness to Complacency, from Complacency to Apathy, from Apathy to Dependency, from Dependency back to being in Bondage.
This cycle also applies to the individual, for a democracy is all about the individual. At what stage of the cycle are you in? At what stage is America in? How far along in the cycle have we as a people progressed? It sure kinda makes me think about my grandchildren and their children. What are we really doing for them? How far along in cycle will they be?
Sorry I got so serious friends so how bout some Lobstahhhhs, steamahhhs and good ol NE Chowdahhhhh.........Your thoughts please.

The Harry and Nancy show what a disaster. They now have hoisted the White flag. Dear Al Qadea and all the other terrorist groups we give up. You win. We want no more of you. You are to strong for us. Are troops will start to leave and on such and such day will be completely gone. What else do you want us to do? Cut off aid to Israel? Send you arms to carry out your global takeover goal? We bow down to you now. We are weaklings so now you can do what you want. Please don't bomb us anymore we promise to be good. Take your training camps back. Come and get those nice fellows were holding at Guantanamo. After all our Imperial President is to blame for everything not us we loooooove you we want to be your friend so lets have a Carolina style BBQ we will even supply the PIG, and thats no BULL......Wake up friends and wake up Congress......Mr President I am confident that you will veto this utter nonsense. IRAQ/AFGHANISTAN WAR; Whos to blame?

9/11 has to be the most defining moment in our history. We were attacked on our home soil by an armed aggressor albeit box cutters and nail clippers using domestic airplane flights as bombs. What a coordinated ingenious plot.
Patriotism soared as we all felt the indignity of it all and revenge for these heinous attacks was first and foremost in everyones mind. We americans find it very difficult to turn the other cheek so strike back was felt in every corner of our society.
So Who's to blame for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan? The President or us. Didn't we all get behind the administration in the call to avenge 9/11? Congress? the Media? in every barbershop, street corner and bridge club meeting? No one stood up and said wait a minute. No one questioned the war back then as it would be an affront to patriotism.
So my friends its time to lay the blame where it lies. It is my fault it is your fault, we you and I are to blame. The buck stops with you and I. Not our political leaders for they like us bought in to the patriotic fervor and sought vengeance. Vengeance is mine saith the lord, how soon we forget........Your comments please.

MALE ITEMS................
1. Zip Lock Bags, They hold everything in and you can see right through them.
2. Tires, They go bald and is often over-inflated
3. A Subway, Uses the same old lines to pick people up.
4. A Hammer, Hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years but its handy to have around,
5. Hot Air Balloon, to get it to go anywhere you have to light a fire under it, and of course there's all that hot air.
FEMALE ITEMS...............
1. Copiers, Once turned off they take awhile to get warmed up again. Its an effective reproductive device if all the right buttons are pushed, and will wreck havoc for pushing the wrong ones.
2. Sponges, They are soft, squeezable and retain water.
3. Web Pages, They are always getting hit on.
4, Hour Glass, Over time the weight shifts to the bottom.
5, Remote Control, Ha. you thought that it would be MALE, but consider this.....Gives a man pleasure, He would be lost without it, and while he doesn't know all the buttons to push he keeps trying anyway.

Privatizing Social Security. A solution to a criminal retirement system.

After looking at some Blogs these last few days I have seen numerous comments on how President Bush has not done anything for America. Well I'm here to tell you that he has tried, his modest plan to privatize Social Security would have been a step in the right direction, but was shot down by the liberal media and Democrat sound bites..... I hope you have taken your Heart medicine and blood pressure pills when you read this next summary. Prior to the Democratic controlled Congress closing the Social security loophole, public employees could opt out and set up their own retirement plan. Galveston county in Texas and 2 others did just that prior to 1983. Lets look at the differences: A worker averaging 20,000 a year with 40yrs of work retiring at 65 under the alternate plan would receive a monthly benefit of $2,740 while under Social Security $775.....A worker in the $50,000 a year range monthly benefit would be $6,843 under Social Security $1,302 .....Under the alternate plan those Texas county employees life insurance was 3 times their annual salary to a maximum of $150,000.......Social Security life insurance? a one time benefit of $255. Disability benefits were equally generous and easy to obtain while Social Security disability benefits are very hard to get. ...............Oh and most importantly the alternate plan employees have the satisfaction that its their money and will not be spent on anything but their own retirement and if they are deceased any unused portion will go to their beneficiaries........Ahh but alas the naysayers spin the doom and gloom web and tout Social Security as the most successful Government program ever. I say its criminal as our future workers will not get hardly anything. We have been fed lies about it and soon it will be bankrupt. The Spin Doctors win again as the American Public are mislead again. We need a stronger conservative that George W Bush to shove privatizing Social Security down our throats and stand up to Congress and the Media...........

A NEW ENGLAND LUNCHEON

OK Friends......CJC and I will be in Maine for the month of September near Portland, about 2 hours north of Boston. WE would like to invite all SFFs in the new England Area and those others who want to attend to a Luncheon. It will be on a date suitable to as many as possible like on a Saturday or Sunday. If enough are able to attend we will set a firm date and perhaps arrange an activity or two. weather permitting perhaps a cruise through the many islands in Casco Bay or just a simple shopping spree or sightseeng fling. So let us know and we can set it up.........So Chummies how bout some Lodstahhhhhh???

Stranded on a Desert Island with Hillary

There once was a shipwreck and the only survivors, a man, a sheep and a sheepdog made it to a deserted island in the South Pacific. Each night the three would sit on the beach and watch the beautiful sunset with its cirrus clouds and bright orange colors. After a few weeks the man was having those amorous feelings put his arm around the sheep. Ever protective the sheepdog snarled and growled and bared its teeth at the man. He quickly removed his arm......A few weeks later there was another shipwreck and the only survivor to make it to the Island was Hillary. The man quickly had her to sit on the beach each sunset with the sheep and the sheepdog. After a week went by the man had the amorous feelings again. This time he leaned over and whispered in Hillary's ear " Do you think that you could take that dog for a walk?".......
