Well it is now Mothers Day. CJC wore her White rose to honor her deceased Mom and her daughters wore a red rose to honor her at church this morning. What a nice touch. Truly all moms need to be honored today, as we all have one....... Many thanks to those who responded to my blog yesterday and although there were some negative comments, far and above were those who share the same concern that I do and the wide spread use of abortion must be reigned in. An average of 28,000 a week is not acceptable. Lets change the term "Pro Choice to "Pro Alternative". We will be much better off as a country and a people........ No longer will Mothers feel the stigma of knowing that they destroyed (killed) their child's heartbeat. We must educate them that all life is precious even in the womb. "In God We Trust" is the motto on our money, it needs to printed and engraved in our hearts as well. .....God bless all Mothers today no matter the circumstances......................

A Mothers Day Celebration; repeal Rowe vs Wade

In celebration of Mothers Day tomorrow I cant help but think of the injustice they have suffered since Rowe vs Wade. Because of the Supreme Court's ruling to uphold the ban on partial birth abortion the abortion rights crowd ran around like chicken little "the sky is falling". Their refusal to acknowledge that abortion is the murdering/killing of an unborn child is deafening. Their "Pro Choice" position of choosing to have or abort is the same as going into an ice cream parlor and choosing between chocolate or vanilla.
Why doesn't NOW (National Organization for Women) and Planned Parenthood and other like groups say that the true "Pro Choice" is to have your child or put it up for adoption? That would be the true choice. Just think no more anguish for the mothers of a crisis pregnancy, no more regrets, no more sorrow and no more guilt over destroying (killing) your own child.
The reason behind theirs and others who advocate the extreme position of "Pro Choice"? Its gotta be the money. Abortion is a multi million dollar industry. With that kind of money its easy to see how its perpetuated. But America can do better lets make the term "Pro Choice" really mean a choice to have or to adopt. If we had done that in 1973 the Holocaust of 45 million babies would not have occurred.........Your comments please.

A Diet Testimony.

As a young man and a US Marine for 30 years active and reserve I never really experienced a weight problem. After I left the Military I began to notice the old bathroom scale creep. Over the next 20 or so years another 20 pounds were added to an already 195 lb 6 ft frame. I finally quit work altogether in 2001. Retirement was great. No activity other than lifting a remote and all that great Buffets and all you can eat chinese food. Talk about being in hog heaven. I quickly mushroomed to 305 lbs before you could say "want another piece of cheesecake sir". All the accompaning ills associated with rapid weight gain were in my inventory and I was a type 2 diabetic. High cholesterol, High tryglicerides, high blood pressure, high glucose levels. feet and lower leg sweeling, decreased energy snd the most crushing of all dimished sex drive. Does any of this sound familiar? It sure was for me.
It was time I took control. Enter Dr Atkins. He saved my life. I quickly learned that it wasnt food that was my problem it was the so called nutritionist telling me to restrict fat and eat more whole grains, cereals, cut back on red meat,eggs, butter, cheeses, you name it if I liked it they said it was bad. Within 6 mos of following Dr Atkins nutritional guidlines I had no more swelling cholesterol went to 140 blood pressure was normal and all other blood lipids were within normal range. Oh and the best part was I weighed 230 lbs. I never felt hungry I had bacon and eggs anytime I wanted. Even the skin on the chicken wasnt forbidden Real butter and fresh cream. Fantastically prepared vegtables. Now this is really hog heaven eating foods you love in satisfying amounts.
So my friends its those carbs that are doing you in plain and simple. Yes its not a bed of roses yes it takes commitment yes you cant have Bread, Potatoes, Sugar, Rice and Pasta. Give it a chance what have you got to lose? just inches thats all.
I highly recommend that before starting this you need to read Dr Atkins Book and get an Ok from your doctor. This diet is not for everyone and it is my testimony and mine alone.

Bad Boy Contest? Here is my winner.....

Having recently watched with some amusement the Bad Boy contest I thought I should tell you that the baddest of them all is Chuck Norris. How bad is he? Well consider these.
1. Chuck has 2 speeds, walk and kick you in the face.
2. When Chuck does pushups hes not lifting himself up hes pushing the earth down.
3. Chuck can defeat a brick wall playing Tennis.
4. Chuck is currently suing NBC claiming Law & Order are trademarked names for his left and right foot.
5. Chuck can start a fire using a magnifying glass at night.
6. He only takes 20 min to watch all of 60 min.
7. He lost his virginity before his Dad did.
8. There is no chin behind his beard only another fist.
9. He can divide by zero.
10. And finally the baddest of all; When Chuck files his taxes with the IRS he sends in a blank form with a picture of himself.
Now you tell me who's badder than that?........Got any Lobstahhhhhhhh?

The Hangover, It was Priceless

Jack wakes up at home with a huge hangover after the night of his office Christmas party. He forces himself to open his eyes,
and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose! Jack sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Jack looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror. He notices a note on the table that reads......................
"Breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping -- Love
you, Jill"
He stumbles to the kitchen, and sure enough, there is hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table,
eating. Jack asks, "Son... what happened last night?"
Jack's son answers, "Well, you came home after 3 a.m. drunk and out of your mind. You broke some furniture, puked in the
hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door!"
Jack says, "So, why is everything in such perfect order, so clean? I have a red rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for
me."
His son replies, "Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, "'Leave me alone, lady, I'm married!'"
Broken furniture - $85.26

Two aspirins - $0.38

In light of todays events that thwarted the terrorist plot to attack a military installation and kill as many of our soldiers as possible, I wonder how much credit the Presidents security initiatives will get. So often criticized and much maligned by the left wingers and Democrats as imposing on our freedoms, I wonder how the Media will downplay and shift the credit for this success to another agenda? I am sure they will.
So my friends just keep on saying that President Bush is incompetent, the worst chief executive in history, a liar and thief, and yes even an SOB...... Thats OK cause he still wants to protect us and even you name callers.
Lobstahhhhh and Steamahhhhhs cant beat em.

Well now I guess I finally did it, a poll where the liberals did not vote. 138 views and only 11 votes. That did not stop some negative comments about President Bush however. I do wish they would have voted. Any way the vote was pretty much split between 1. all of the above and 2. He supports the troops and their mission. A vote each for he is a man of principle and he wants to protect our citizens. Thanks again for your participation and even the comments received as there were some positive remarks as well............These words below are true today as they were 144 years ago............

Women's Words, what do they really mean?

FINE....Is used by women to end arguments when they are right and you need to shut up.
NOTHING...Considered to be the calm before the storm, really it means something. You need to be ever alert because something is coming.
FIVE MINUTES....When she is dressing it really means 1/2 hour. It only means 5 minutes when your watching a football game and she gives you 5 more minutes before you have to help with the housework or take her shopping.
GO AHEAD....This is a dare not permission.
LOUD SIGH....Not actually a word but a non verbal statement often misunderstood by men. Usually means she thinks your an idiot.
THATS OK.....Very dangerous. Means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how you will pay for your mistake.
THANKS.....When a woman says this do not question it or faint, just say your welcome.
WHATEVER.....Its a woman's way of saying *#@* YOU.
