Women like Fishing ....... Oct 23, 2007 8:38 am
542 Views
....The first thing one must do when going fishing is learn how to bait the hook/select the correct lure...From viewing the various pictures posted on here its show a little leg, a nice cleavage shot or no face just a tight sweater does the trick.....The 2nd thing you must do is cast the line upon the water.....I see this in what I call Info blogs. The ladies make it known what they like and don't like what the expect from a relationship their hopes and dreams how passionate they are......Number 3 is when you get a nibble set the hook.....Let him know that he's the boss, cook for him, let him watch all the football he wants. Praise him, put that dab of perfume behind each ear and other strategic locations. .....Now comes the reel in ....The lights are dim, maybe even candlelight. A soft kiss, a breath in his ear. a little moan and he's ready. Afterward's with your head on his chest you tell him he is the greatest ever so big and strong......Now its bring out the Net or Gaff because that fish is ready to be caught. He put up a good fight he really liked his environment(being a bachelor) but to know avail the fisher(wo)man was oh so clever. It is described as a good "Catch".

.....Think I'll go and trap some Lobstahhh.....

Women Voting...........Good or Bad Oct 22, 2007 1:36 pm
652 Views
.....A lot of the Republican debate held in Florida last night seemed to be about how each candidate would fare against Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton. This was mildly disturbing to me as I wanted to hear more substantive issues............But alas women do vote as guaranteed by the XIX (thats 19 to those who went to public schools) amendment in 1920. Since women have been able to vote nationally we have had a Stock Market crash, The Great Depression, World War II(thats 2 to those who went to public schools), Korean War, Cuban Missile crisis, VietNam War and the most devastating of all that has killed more americans than all the wars put together Roe vs Wade............Now considering all this I have concluded that the most destructive item than all those I have listed since women got the right to vote was the introduction (I like to call it the Destruction) of the dreaded CREDIT CARD......

......OK Ladies I am ready to be blasted......smile just dont take away my Lobstahhhhh...........

RUGBY WORLD CUP FINAL............GO BOKKE Oct 20, 2007 2:38 pm
413 Views
....What a thrilling match. I did not see it but followed the commentary on the internet. Just as I had predicted South Africa prevailed 15-6. England put up a sterling effort but the Boks defense was just to stingy and Jonny Wilkerson did not have the magic he had in 2003. ....Well done to a fine South African team in capturing their 2nd world cup once in 1995 and now 2007. There will be many a Castle hoisted tonight. ....In the pool play South Africa defeated America 64 - 15... sigh.. we are just not up to par in International competition.

Public Schools....Is Education taking a Back Seat? Oct 18, 2007 2:02 pm
529 Views
......Today I read with amazement that a Middle School in Portland Maine will offer prescriptions for birth control pills to its 11-15 yr old students at the Schools health center. .....Isn't all this just great. The Schools pick up little Johnny at his door in Yellow and black buses, bring him to school where a hot nutritional breakfast is waiting. Provide a counselor if he is troubled. A nice low cost to no cost Lunch meal. Physical exercise and extra curricular activities for every imaginable interest. Translators and tutors, special programs and special needs to students requiring them. Now they have Health Centers? They not only can set a broken leg but pass out condoms and now birth control pills. Here comes that yellow and black bus to take little Johnny back to his front door. All that physical activity at school has him pooped out to walk I guess. No wonder Home Schoolers out perform Public Schools. Our Public Schools have been mandated to provide everything but Education. Whats next? School teachers will have to tuck little Johnny in bed I suppose. Whats the answer? Why more tax money of course.......It is unthinkable to think that parents are responsible.

.....Too much of a good thing just might not be a good thing...from the twisted mind of R. Knapp

RUGBY WORLD CUP Oct 17, 2007 7:21 pm

.....This Saturday the Rugby World Cup Final will be played in the host country France. It will feature the Defending Champion England. They will play another Tri-Nations team from down under, The South African Springboks. 4 years ago they squeaked by a strong Australian team in the title match to win the Cup. Having residency status in South Africa I of course will be rooting for the Springboks. South Africa has a strong tradition in Rugby. They last won the World Cup in 1995. Sadly I will have to moniter the match on the internet as it will not be televised here in America. ...... At first glance Rugby looks like organized mayhem. Just like American football, once one becomes familar with its rules it is a very exciting sport. America competes in the Rugby World Cup but does not have much success. We have yet to win a contest. I thought last year we had a chance against Fiji but alas we lost in the waning moments of the match. This sport may not be popular in America but I can assure you most of the world will be glued to their TVs like we do for the Super Bowl's commercials and half time show........smile

......Aint got no Lobstahhhh....but had a foot long hot dog at the NC State Fair today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHEONIX....from one old Geezer to another Oct 17, 2007 5:17 am
612 Views
......For those who might not know what a Geezer is I believe Pheonix fits the bill to a T.

First of all Old geezers are easy to spot. They have been seen holding the door open for the next person. When you bump into a geezer he'll apologize. Pass a geezer on the street he'll nod or tip his cap to a lady. Geezers trust strangers and are courtly to women. Geezers get embarassed if someone curses in front of women and children. They do not like the violence and filth on TV and in the Movies. Geezers have moral courage. Geezers seldom brag unless its about their grandchildren in little league or music recitals. Geezers remember Pearl Harbor, Guadacanal, Iwo Jima, Normandy. The remember the atomic age, the cold war, the Korean war, the jet age and the moon landing, not to mention Vietnam.
This country needs Geezers with their decent values and common sense. Its the Geezers that know that this country is not protected by politicians but by young men and women in the military who are serving their country in foreign lands just like they did years ago. They do it without a thought except to do the best job they can.

Semper Fi my friend and Fratres Aterni you are getting a hand salute (very snappy one I might add) from me on your Birthday you old Geezer.

Congress Fiddles While America Burns...... Oct 16, 2007 10:41 am
670 Views
....,OK my friends your Congress (democrat controlled) is at it again. Gee and I thought Nixon had the dirty tricks. What they are doing now borders on treason. With the Ottoman Empire resolution, they are pushing to pass, will alienate one of our most staunches ally in the middle east. Turkey allows us to use their country and air space to launch attacks in Iraq. Without their support for the war on terror, our efforts would be severely hampered logistically and tactically. What are the Democrats motive for this ridiculous legislation. My conclusion is they want to derail any chance for our success in Iraq, as failure insures there chances in 2008. What other reason could there be? For those of you who went to Public Schools you may not understand it all but I sure do. Speaker Pelosi is bending over backwards to please her base, the radical left wingers, by subverting our efforts in Iraq. Maybe you anti Iraq war nuts don't understand how dangerous it is as you put the troops further into danger as if they don't have enough to deal with now......and all this for votes in 2008......I am disgusted..

A Song For CJC Oct 15, 2007 4:27 am
487 Views
......There have been some recent blogs where the blogger has copied some song lyrics along with their blog comments......Yesterday CJC and I journeyed to Calabash NC to meet up with her oldest Daughter for lunch.(she is a school teacher in Myrtle Beach). We then traveled to Wilmington NC to watch my Grandson's Hockey game and to see the new home my Daughter and her Husband are building. Its about 75% complete...... The boy scored twice and his team won the game 4-2 but in the 3rd period he recieved a 5 min misconduct for arguing a non call by the referee. The home is going to be beautiful but probably a bit big for their needs, over 3200 square feet....... As everything had turned out so well, as we were driving back home on the interstate I told CJC that I have a song I want to dedicate to her. She replied "Oh yeah? What is it, "May the Bird of Paridise Fly up Your Nose?" .......Of course not I said and in by best baritone (little off key) I belted out....." If I had a nickle I know what I would do. I'd spend it all on candy and give it all to you".

.......OK Chummies no Lobstahhhh but We'll see you in St. Pete...........

Decision Time Will Soon Be Upon Us........... Oct 13, 2007 9:22 am

.....It seems improbable but raising taxes reduces government revenue and lowering taxes actually increases revenues. Why is that? Well actually one has only to look at Wal-Mart for the answer. By actually putting forth the perception and appearance of being the lowest price, people will burn an extra dollar in gasoline to save 5 cents on a box of detergent. This concept has made them the most successful and largest retailer in the history of the world......Government spending is at an all time high. The Iraq/Afghanistan war, Burgeoning domestic agendas and all other costly government programs. The President had the solution lower/cut taxes. The result? Rising deficits are now being reversed, prompting the Presidents detractors to consider ( even though they wont admit it) that the Bush tax cuts are working. Revenues to the federal treasury have steadily risen since the Presidents tax cuts became law. People are just like Wal-Mart with lower taxes they produce more save more and spend more, spurring economic growth. Lower taxes gives power back to the individual, spurs and empowers each and every one of us.......In 2008 we as a people are going to decide on a candidate that will preside over the worlds greatest economy. Whom do you think it should be,a tax raiser or a tax cutter? Empower yourself or give more power to the Government? Don't spend your dollar vote on a candidate that will promise to save you 5 cents on a government program...........Your thoughts please, what say you?

Shopping with CJC............My sweetie Oct 12, 2007 12:05 pm
391 Views
....This morning CJC and I went in town to do some shopping (looking). After walking around the Mall 2 times (didn't want to miss anything) we went to Kohl's. I picked out a Cardigan and she got a new coffee maker. On the way home we pulled in to MacDonald's drive thru to get a diet coke. I undid my seat belt to get out my wallet. Upon getting the drinks it was back on the highway and after a while I realized my seat belt was still unfastened. I told her why had she let me go this far with my seat belt undone. "Why is it my fault?" CJC quickly replied. "Well I cant blame George Bush or Big Oil and your 3rd on the list". ...........smile.......

......Lobstahh time is over chummies........
