The price differences are the same here. In town I pay a out $100 a month for water, sewer and trash pick up. Out here it is $85.00 a month for sewer alone. There is no choice of service provider or trash pick up here either. Although there are different companies each city or jurisdiction has a "contract" with one of the companies and the others are not allowed to provide service there.

Hi mrsjoe. The town controls our water, sewer and weekly garbage pick up. No other choice. It costs $175.50, when we first arrived here 19yr ago it was only $52 every two months. As you said, many hikes over the years. My how times change. And we are paying $20 a month for up date to service lines which have not been put in yet.

Hi MrsJoe: I didn't know that people actually had to pay for garbage pick up. How can anyone afford a house these days? My home phone bill was about $50. a month, so I was thinking of just having a cell phone and cancelling the home phone altogether. When I called the phone company, to my surprise they lowered my bill to $9.95 month, no questions asked.

WE paid over $122 last month, but it was myf fault, I left one of the hoses running in the yard for a few hours too long. Normally we pay around $54 an month for water, sewage and trash and I think that is a great deal.
