I'm not your age, but I'll comment anyway. It doesn't matter what the date on your driver's license is, your willingness to date has more to do with self-esteem, happiness, contentment, and sense of adventure.

I'm younger than you and I often feel a little too tired to date, but I have friends that are closer to your age and, since they are retired, they have plenty of energy to date. LOL

I dated a guy who would be 68 now, and he had plenty of energy--so, I guess, like everything else, dating depends on the person.

Hi

I am older than you and would love to date. You are only as old as you feel . The trick is to find someone that you can share things with.

By the way, I lived in Ayr many years ago.

When I first met Joe, he was 68. Obviously we dated, because we are now married. Why should age make any difference?
I have seen couples in the nursing home "date" and spend time together in their limited capacities. Our basic needs for companionship are still the same.

If you want to date, do it. Life is too short to not do the things that you would like to do.

My mother remarried 10 years after my Dad died. She was 73 and her new husband was 80. They are now 83 and 90 and have had 10 wonderful, happy years together.

In my opinion, it's all about attitude and not age.

Steel, you and I are the same age. Yes I would like to date, but geeeee where are the men. The guys that are my age are not around and the younger ones want younger women. If you have a secret, let me know. LOL

Thank you, as you say it depends on the person. I hope you get your energy back to get into the swing again.
