Tough place to be. We just went through that with my mother last year. My sister literally put her life on hold for a couple of years to care for Mom but there comes a time when that is not the best solution. Mom started a fire in the kitchen, wandered off in the dead of winter and several other dangerous things. In the end we were able to keep Mom at home until her passing but not without the assistance of in home care providers from the VA, in home care providers we paid for, the assistance of several friends and in the end hospice and 2 relatives who are medical professionals. The financial cost was astronomical and sis had to fight the doctors recommendations for placement. It is not easy, and in fact sometimes possible to do it all yourself. You will need "a village" to get the job done. Good energy your way. Spiritwoman ^i^
