Well I got through the second full day of work this week in our new "office" space with the 7 minute rule and the 1 minute rule. We have air conditioning and that has been a life saver in the heat wave we are having again. Need to get blinds at the windows and then it will be better. Hope you are all having a wonderful hump day.

Curious as what the "7 minute and the 1 minute rule " is all about.
My day has been good so far and hope yours is too.

LuLu99 the 7 minute rule is: I can't punch in before 7:53 a.m. or I'm early and get written up and the 1 minute rule is I can't punch in at 8:01 a.m. or I'm late and get written up. The same rules apply to the end of the workday and lunch time. Thanks for the comment!

You get written up for coming to work early and for working late ? Why ?

For starters they have to pay us for anything worked over 8 minutes and they don't want us to have overtime right now. They are really cracking down on overtime of any kind. The other thing is I guess they have some who really abuse the system. So if we are too early or too late to many times we get reprimanded. Crazy huh!
