Yes it's true, I'm 53 and a virgin blogger. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do so I looked at some of the others and still didn't really understand. H E L P!!

You are doing fine. Write anything you want.

Your blog is like your diary except that others can read it. So, you can write anything you want. Nobody can tell you what to write and what not to write except SFF. It seems that they have some rules like no advertisement. Psst, I never read those rules. If you need to know, I have read a one line post asking people for sex (not on this site, of course). Like Abelle2 says, you are doing fine.

Yes, just write your heart and what is on your mind at the time. Just the little sentence you wrote says you can do it. I have only been doing blogs for about a week now and didn't think I could do it either, but here I am and it is so comfortable to be able to put my feelings out right here. And hey, there is even spell check. lol

I appreciate the comments and encouragement...how can we get to be this old and still be nervous about trying something new?

Matron, Hey, it's good to be a virgin at something!

I conducted an experiment several months ago. I read a bunch of blogs and then asked each blogger why he/she decided to start a blog. I got very few cogent answers. I suspect that most bloggers have no idea why they blog. It was very clear that many folks had not thought through the possible negative ramifications of their actions. But that doesn't mean you can't do it and enjoy it. Cheers, Al
