Why is it people write blogs for all to see but u can not comment on them? Now there are many reasons one may write a blog. One may write to talk about life as they see it. Others may write about love and pain as they see it. Then there are others that use the blog to father they hate for mankind. What ever the reasons there should me comments made on them. Why put a blog up if just YOUR FRIENDS can comment, feel what I'm saying??. One more thing I would like to talk about. Do u recall when last we were in school?? There was always this group that said if u were not with them, than no one should talk to them. That is the way it is in chat. There are posse, and if u hurt one of them u hurt all of them."don't talk to him or her" Come on we are seniors, we have been there and done that. Just asking is all. Donnie-----I have asked that same question so many times, I think its now just an every day part of my vocabulary. The main reason is because some people(and they know who they are) cannot handle any negative comments so the commentor is banned from any further blogs that is written by the blogger. Childish behavior is usually rewarded with punishment but in these cases its actually the commentor who is punished. But alas, the blogger is the child. Ah well, isnt it great to be a senior. LOLOL

Donnie, good question. You have left this open for anyone to comment on, but, I am willing to bet on some that will not comment on it.
No one should ever tell anyone who to talk to. And, people should not be followers. They should be able to keep friendships up with each side if there is a disagreement and not be pushed into "standing up" for someone even though they like them. You can like someone and not follow their path in everything they do.

Hi Donnijoe. I don't know why the world is why it is. I do not belong to any of the "clicks" Yes I do remember in school they had them too and I did not fit in to any of them there either. in SFF I am just me and will always treat people the way they treat me. If someone speaks to me I always try and speak back to them...if the screan is not moving too fast..lol.. and if I write a blog ..SFF only leaves it on the first page maybe 15 min. but all are welcome to respond....take care...judy
Have a wonderful life fluffy1

Donni...it does kinda of seem some avoid adversity at all cost. I would imagina some do it for spite and some do it just to keep the negativity out. I know if I were continually insulted on my blogs I'd strongly consider banning a person. A person's timidity also comes into play with some, I'm sure. All I really do know is it takes ALL kinds to make a world.

I don't mind putting someone on iggy, and I don't mind banning someone from commenting on my blog--but I leave it open for everyone to comment, not just my friends. However, if the person commenting is abusive, I block that one person.
When it comes to chat, people need to grow up.

Most of the blogs are open for all. I have NO idea why others chose to block comments, but that is their right.
The only thing I have blocked is that SFF MEMBERS ONLY can read my blogs. I try to remember each time to check the box where my blogs won't be on Google too.

Sometimes a person may just be posting a commentary or information of their blog, and perhaps cont wish to have comments made on their blog. They are within their rights that SFF allows us, if they prefer NOT to have comments.

It takes all people to make this world go round. Some people write comments that just cannot stand it, if someone viewpoint is different from theirs, and they get their drawers in a wad. You do have a few that just want to state a comment and that is their choice. You will learn who are the adults and who are the children!

I think everybody knows who the group is and who is the selfproclaimed leader. But, not every one in that group is a follower. There are those who do think for themselves. The more rude and spiteful the actions become, the more the others will want to distance themselves from it. And they will.
It's so weird, someone did an article about this very thing, I commented on it and the next day the article and my comment was deleted. By SFF or the writer, I don't know. That made two, the first article was an attempt to smooth the waters and feelings of members who were just plain tired of the drama. That article was also deleted. Makes me wonder, who is banning the effort for smooth sailing!
What goes around comes around!
