Friday's Bouquet

This is an orchid which belongs to my neighbour. It is exquisite but, unlike other orchids, only blooms for a day.

Lee

Note: I am sorry for the delay but last week, I was down with Dengue Fever. My platelets dropped to 12,000 /cmm and I guess I am lucky to have returned from the brink. Can you imagine a small mosquito causing so much damage? I am fine now and thankful to the Big Guy up there for rejecting me.

So glad to hear of your recovery Lee, it must have been very concerning. Will there be after effects? Yes I too am amazed at just how much damage a mosquito can do; a malaria-bearing mosquito killed an uncle years ago (lived in tropics), a not so uncommon occurrence. Beautiful orchid by the way

Glad you have recovered, Lee. I had Dengue some years ago. Take care, my friend.
The orchid is a beauty, for sure. Thanks for sharing.
