Friday's Bouquet
I was walking down the quiet Brisbane street in the early morning when a tiny voice squeaked, "Hey! Watch where you are going, mister." Looking down, I saw a dahlia in her beautiful russet dress. After apologizing, I went on my way.

The chill in the air announced the coming of autumn and flowers like the dahlia will soon be gone, replaced by the fall colours and I will be here to witness the change - when the foliage burst into flames to replace the flowers as the centre of attraction.
