 Very true!!

I think that since the advent of television, we've been conditioned to rely on the 'experts' for our opinions, instead of doing our own research and using common sense.

We're being dumbed down.... imho.

Research is a far cry - we don't even read or observe.

Your manager was right - my words vary a wee bit.

I say that "Common sense is so conspicuous by being so uncommon."

We have been amidst the induction effect of the cyclone (Phailin) down South of us in Orissa with constant rain in the last 48 hours. There has been a five degree drop in max and seven degree drop in the min temperature.

We are not fully ready for the winter yet. We shall be by tomorrow by 1000 AM though.
