"It came to me that everytime I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart.
If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

Your Bailey is so cute! Your post is right on target, too. Living alone is much easier when you have a little one that loves to snuggle.
My Daisy is a cocker spaniel and a rescue. She was severly abused and needed surgeries but when she learned to trust again, what a huge amount of love she had to give.

Kieralyn, thanks for the kind words. Barb, your little Hurricane is cute. MrNiceGuy, I like your Stetson(?) LOL lovethecoast, for those of us who love their animals it is sooo true Wishes, my Bailey is quite the character...he can really act "imperial". When he is doing that I call him my Royal Highney instead of highness....LOL...Bailey is a Chinese Crested Powder Puff and Jeffrey in the next blog is the same. Simba sounds more like my Jeffrey who is a clown. grin Hap I am glad you have had that blessing. It helps to make us the loving, compassionate person we are today.
Thanks y'all for stopping by, please come again. Barbe

What a cool dog!!!! And I love the name Bailey! My little Hurricane is my pardner....
“"Here's the analogy. If my body were a car, I'd be thinking about trading it in around now. I would like to upgrade. I would be actually on the lot somewhere and some guy with a loud sports jacket would be sizing me up...kinda lookin' around goin--maybe kickin my knees. Looking behind me going: "That looks a little bashed in back there...Yeah. You mind if I check under the hood?" 'Well yes I do! Thank you very much."(talking about her body and the fact that she's aging.)” Ellen DeGeneres
