Beautiful rose for a lovely lady! Hugs my dear friend. Hi to Mr. Dan! "The only way to have a friend is to be one."

Interesting - I prefer doing my tidy up at night. Must be a hang over from when I had a house full of little kids and had to "pick up" after they were in bed if we wanted any hope of stumbling out of bed without tripping over kid stuff. These days I am lucky if I can find my coffee - let alone do anything about the rubble in the way to it! Spiritwoman ^i^

Thanks Ane for the reminder; things can too easily become lopsided as we set about our day to day tasks as you say. I'm glad you have such a loving partner too :- )

Beautiful rose. I like your sentiment in like in life Ane. Dan obviously sees the beauty in life no matter how it looks. That is nice for you Ane and I am sure he tells you are beautiful in the morning before you comb your hair and put on the lipstick. He sees you for what you are.

Hi Ane: It's nice that Dan sees beauty, but there could be another explanation regarding his not noticing the kettle. In most Italian households, if something needs to be done or fixed and it's INSIDE the house, then it's a woman's job. If it's OUTSIDE, then it's the man's job. Since the brass kettle is inside and the roses are outside, maybe Dan is part-Italian. lol

When I get up, the first thing I do is log into SFF to greet my wonderful friends in the chatrooms.
