Alfie and I are stunned with this news although we knew it was coming.

My first thought was, he is returning to his beloved Mt. Rainier. We commented back and forth about it, a place I camped on many years ago and never forgot the beauty of it.

To all his family and friends, both SFF and elsewhere, we send our condolonces.

This is sad news. He enjoyed his life in the Canadian Rockies. Not many are so fortunate. May he rest in peace.

Grouch was the man always asking after everyone else being concerned for their welfare or joining in with the good news stories, a lovely person. My thoughts go out to his family R.I.P Grouch
