Well, most of us have agreed that not asking for one is the best answer. I would venture to guess that more than 20% have failed to get a raise by not asking for one. It was so obvious to me, I knew it had to be wrong!

Still 0'fer the year.

Hi Ane: I got it. Dress for success, it makes sense. Another good tip I heard from a friend is that if you want to succeed in a managerial position "Never show your teeth at work".
