Maybe they didn't have time to discuss quitting with the wife, as it may well have been a "quit or you're fired" situation. Then again, it may have been a temper tantrum and they had to quit to save face . LOL

Hard one for me to figure out. Most of the men in my life talked, talked, talked and there was always too much TMI.

Thinking about it maybe quitting a job isn't that strange. for many, men and women, actually quitting is frequently an immediate reaction to something very intolerable.

That really surprised me about men. Mind you, I would and did change jobs with out consulting SO. But, nursing jobs are easy to come by.
