I got it right, hallelujah Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn, Anyway, what I tell my friends is it's a waste to use my sick time, if I'm really sick. Since I feel bad at work anyway, I might as well be there and feel bad because I'm sick. Okay, I know I'm a bad person, lying when I take a sick day, but what the heck.. It's the only way having sick days makes me feel good. Isn't that what it's for... having sick days is suppose to make me feel better. I figure if I go to work, and make my coworkers sick. That's okay too, because they usually make me sick!

I thought OTC meds since that is what most of the people I know do. Went through this again with Chuck just last night - no, there is no magic pill for the sniffles, just has to run it's course. For me it would have been go to work. When I was working for others I never wanted to waste my annual leave home being sick. Time off was reserved for fun. Also here in the US employers are not at all generous or even considerate about time off. So many people have to go to work sick or loose pay they can't afford to loose. Spiritwoman ^i^

Hi Ane: Now that I'm retired, when I get a cold I get under my blankie, turn on the t.v., and eat chicken soup. When I was still working and got a cold I dragged myself there no matter how sick I was.

I got it right - my conclusion, Ane, therefore, is that 67% people are workaholics. Have a nice evening and a great day tomorrow. "To fight the darkness do not draw your sword, light a candle" - Zarathustra
