The question was misleading, I would assume that the should refer to 75% of divorced people. 75% of all people do not check up on their ex, because at least 25% of those on the internet don't even have an Ex (even if that ex be a boyfriend or girlfriend)

I would believe if the answer read "searching for information on other people."

 Good Lord...what on earth would they want to know about their ex...unless it is to see if he is out of prison!

NO, I do not have an ex that has been in prison and know where they both are. One's ashes are just outside of the channel in Honolulu and the other is still boozing in Indiana.

 Hi Ane: When I divorced and left the U.S. my ex kept the house. One time I giggled the address of the house and there was a link to a house and garden magazine. The front cover of the magazine showed a picture of the house and said it had won an award for having the best flower garden in the whole city. What an absolute shock that was, because my ex never told me about the award and when we lived there together he had no interest whatsoever in gardening or anything else to do with the house for that matter.
