Eating? Guess we have the reason for the obesity epidemic. Guess these folks have never had to feed a large family. Eating is a work, not a leisure activity for me.

Got it right! I did have to think it through though. If Obesity is such a problem then they must have to spend much of their time eating...

How about one more option, "eating and drinking while watching TV just before napping on the couch while thinking of taking a stroll"?

Good to see you back AneMac!

Hi Ane: My new hobby is baton twirling. I've been teaching myself baton for the past few weeks, because to take lessons I would have to drive miles and pay $55. for each group lesson with a bunch of five year olds. It's not easy learning anything new on your own but baton twirling is an actual Olympic event, and what fun this is. So nice to see you blogging again Ane.

Got it right! You only have to look at some of those morbidly obese people who have to use invalid scooters to shop at Wal-mart to know what their favorite pastime is!

Hi Ane, welcome!
I don't know why I chose that! Perhaps because I've seen on TV many overweight american women...

I chose surfing the net...I agree with Pat about eating. That is a necessity in life not a leisure thing. Oh well ...I tried!

Hi Ane: Before I started I had never even watched anyone twirl a baton before, but one day I was out walking and found a long stick on the ground and wondered how baton twirlers make a baton twirl around like that. I started experimenting passing it through all my fingers and watched one short uToob video to see if I was doing it right. It requires a lot of concentration but I've mastered both hands now and this is the most fun I've had in years, plus I lost ten pounds doing it.

Here I thought it was my lucky day to get the answers right - this one gives me the slip.

I voted surfing the net - have a great day, you and Dan.

Hi Ane: Wow, it's so nice to know someone who has done baton too. I wish we could twirl together because this is so much fun. After I tried twirling the stick through my fingers for about a week I bought a toy baton with flashing lights on each end at the dollar store. Then after a couple of weeks on that I knew I would stick with it so I went out and bought a real baton. Did you take lessons and when did you give it up? Ane, it doesn't seem too many young people at interested in baton these days. It's an actual event at the Olympics now.
