Amazing how the younger folks have no idea about dressing for the weather. Out here it can be around 90. The young girls will be wearing daisy duke shorts, uggs and knitted hats that have ear flaps.

I think we all like to watch what other people are doing and what they are wearing, Bill, it is something we all enjoy. I am amazed when I see how little some of the young ones wear during cold weather. Speaking for myself, I'm a little like that "Poor Robin"

"The north wind doth blow and we shall have snow, and what will poor robin do then?

He'll sit in the barn to keep himself warm, with his head tucked under his wing, poor thing."

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Years ago when I lived in Oakland, CA, my gal friend and I would people watch at the train station, the airport, and the bus station. Our husbands were overseas. What a variety of people we saw!

I use public transit quite a bit during the winter.

Watching people's behaviour on buses is fascinating.

Why do some insist on exiting by the front door when there are people waiting to get on?

Why do they stand at the exit doors when they aren't getting off at the next stop thus blocking others who are getting off?

Why do they think that their mobile phone convos are so interesting that the rest of us want to hear them?
