.....and I am losing myself in music. Health problems, legal confusion, world conflict, family and friend concerns. So many things I can not control. But this I can; Pop in a cd, turn up the volume, sing along, spread paint on canvas, finish with a prayer of thanksgiving. What do you do when the world starts closing in on you?

I like music, writing and most of all walks along a river or the ocean. Sometimes I love the view from a mountain top watching a bird catching a ride on a good air current.
Even better sharing with a friend like you - So I am sending you lots of good thoughts and I know that you know these things that befall us are short visitors and our spirit and will are what carry us through - hugz - Peter

Classic, According to your post it was written at 4:46 PM. To me, that means there are only six hours left in this day, if you go to bed at 11:00 PM. For me sometimes, I have break the day down into hours when I get in the pits because I know, I just know, that tomorrow the sun is going to rise again and I have another chance to have a better day!Big Hugs, my friend!

Unfortunately I gravitate to food
I do like to write and find that helps. Music tends to make me more melancholy for some reason. I sleep to. Sometimes its best to be sure that you are getting plenty of rest and eating healthy when things around you are not going so well.
I hope you begin to feel better. It is hard when we have no control over the situations around us.
Sending you a hug. ~Karen
BTW ~ I emailed you the other day but haven't heard back from you, so I'll let you know here as well. Apparently the email that you sent me via SFF was placed into my bulk files and the text was deleted. All I know is that I got an email from you. SFF is messing up.

It's not going well with me either. And, hasn't been for about a month. Seems my nites have turned into days and vice versa. Music helps a bit. I tend to retreat to my bed which isn't really a good thing cause the thoughts won't stop and I can't go to sleep. The next two weeks will tell the tale for me. I have a feeling, like me, you just have too many things to deal with right now. Maybe you're the other pea in my pod..lol
If I can help, let me know. Here's a big hugggggggg..hope it helps a bit, Chloe

Pick up that easel, grab those paints get outside in the park or paint the scene of the kids in the school playground.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Look for it.
Happier times are on the way.
This is just a personal opinion, but life is more fun if you can find time to laugh.

Long-term struggles spur the creative instincts and, often, I write like crazy. Good music in the background gives the ruminative pauses something to take in and enjoy. If I can get out to a park or garden to drink in the beauty around me while I 'journal', that's a soul-soother, too. And, of course, there's my favorite stand-by of taking a tall drink and a good book to a bubble bath.

I had a stressful day yesterday and just went to bed. Later I listen to music and fixed myself a nice cold drink.

Your way is a good one, to cope. I'd been just crying. Now, I'm able to laugh. It feels much better, too.

Meditation and pranayama (deep-breathing exercises) with holistic music in the background do help a great deal to cleanse your mind
Hope you be your usual cheeful self again soon Classic.
