Significance of Mars Encounter (Aug 2003) Dec 27, 2005 10:21 pm
Mood: contemplative, 624 Views
As Mars spins away from Earth after an August visit, it may be time to ponder the significance of the encounter. Scholars and astronomers of other ages and civilizations could have viewed this as a cataclysmic event. But what, in fact, it were. Numerically 9-11 meant an emergency call until September 11th etched the mnemonic into our psyche.
I have edited this blog.I thought that the mars encounter signaled antichrist. But later, after checking astrological happenings, could it be the August 18, 1999 alignment, a crooked cross called the grand cross, the 999 upside down is 666. Nostradamus in his quatrain said that in the year 1999 in the seventh month, from the sky a king of terror will come. He will bring back to life the great King of the Mongols. Before and after him Mars appears happily (coming toward us then leaving)3 x 666=1998.
The Bible says this is wisdom. We do not know the date of the second coming but we ARE given clues to antichrist. He would be about 7.

We are told to watch and wait.
blessings to you all.
love in Christ

Cloning a Cat, Western Sahara and FEMA Oct 2, 2005 5:09 pm

.....Just me again: was wondering. We spend silly money on things ie. cloning a cat. Why don't we try to make a difference in climate.
A lady doctor in Cuba discovered that her students suddenly developed debilitating cases of asthma. She suspected the culprit was dust from the Sahara in Africa. She took her own money, got soil samples and WALLA - a match.

I was wondering. If the mangroves of the Sahara (saltwater plants that line the coast) are suffering then the dust (the Sahara produces 60% of the dust in the world) comes over. We have also heard that dust tornadoes may actually become hurricanes when they hit an unprotected coast.

Could we import mangroves, say from RioDejanaro which is on the Tropic of Capricorn to Western Sahara which is on the Tropic of Cancer? And if these saltwater plants flourish, can trees be added at a later time, or vines for a barrier????

So, if you subscribe to.."if a butterfly flaps it's wings in New York it will rain in San Francisco." Then is it in fact: if a mangrove dies in the Sahara we have another catagory 4 hurricane.

Now if we protect ourself from the weather, will
FEMA go broke?

Ok, so I'm in my mid 50's. That is okay with me.But I see myself and my fellow sisters as being a very underutilized resource.

You talk of terrorists with fear. What would they do with an angry grandma? Think of the blow we could deliver. And we have the steely determination to back it up. Have you ever changed the diaper of a disabled 7-year old?

It amazes me when some reporter is interviewing some heinous dictator and sit right there with almost the devil himself without action. Having coffee with somebody that has killed women and children.

I think we are being overlooked as a vastly superior resource in some instances.

Elevate your thoughts.
Rise above a plain and demeaning existence.
Share your sense of wonder.
Resist and avoid negative people.
Smile when you should cry.
Expect a miracle.
Mirror your expected lifestyle.
Read a book to a child.
Sleep with luxurious bedding on a firm mattress.

Are you stuck in dry dock? Did you play it safe and not take a chance? Have you lived your life risk free?

I don't think that humans were made for that sort of existence. We have not really evolved beyond our Neanderthal counterparts. It seems even an elementary diet works best on our bodies: Meat, berries, cheese (fermented or processed milk). So, why do we think that our brains have evolved much more. Maybe we don't need those wisdom teeth anymore since we don't have to chew mastadon meat. We are still geared for fight or flight in our reactions. That's why alarm clocks cause heart attacks. We are built to hit the ground running.

So why then, in human emotions do we stay reserved?

If you must start with baby steps...take a chance today.

The family is on the Atkins diet. Yes, the household has been cleared out of bread, macaroni, potatoes, rice, and any starch that isn't used in ironing.

Wish us luck, we will need it....!!!!

Let's say that you are usually the person everyone comes to for advice. Then, let's say that you have one of those world class, life altering decisions to make.....what do YOU do?

Do you flip a coin? Do you seek a higher power?

What finally convinces you that the person who gives you advice is right? And, finally, do you just seek someone who will give you the answer you want so that you feel vindicated.......!
