I am certain there must be joy in the morning even if I sleep through most of it. I have witnessed far more sunsets than sunrises. In fact three o'clock in the afternoon is when I come alive. Being the first woman in my family to have worked outside the home for any period of time may be a reason for this indulgence. And then to have worked in a prison almost twenty years is odd indeed to the family history. Is there something a little absurd for grandmother to come home in a correctional officer uniform?
But to those of you who relish the birth of a new day think upon this. The Bible says that the birth of a person is far less to be celebrated than the end of him. so I celebrate the end to this day and every day I am able to.
