Sitting, thinking about child rearing skills, tactics and successes and failures thereof. I guess at this point, we could write volumns about these. Now comes a five year old grandniece to the equation. A girl in the house to join an eight year old boy and seven year old boy delayed due to infantile meningitis. Need to sharpen up the skills again. Oh, the satin and lace, the sweet smells lost in the raising of boys. The things that I had long forgotten. The ponytail holders and barrettes sitting alongside the men's cologne and hairgel. The reams of paper needed for the sweet notes, daily, that we apparently need. The refrigerator full of devotions and schedules. The one thing that I do know is that children go where you lead and not where you point. So I will also have to sharpen my girly skills again. What fun.Goodbye for now, off to pick flowers
