Godspeed! The Bandit is Flying High! Burt Reynolds has gone to the other side. There is a point in life where that is not a major league tragedy. It's just going through another door to continue the journey to God knows where. I was never a major league television watcher as a youngster but I do remember when Dan August was being filmed near our home. I was more focused on talking to the crew versus the stars. A group of were seeking out Burt Reynolds for autographs. I pointed out one of the crew members, a cute blond young man, and told the don't forget him, he's a movie star too. Suddenly the crew member was mobbed by youngsters asking for his autograph. later, I was a mom and decided to take my young to the movies. I met a young man who must have thought I was a MILTF. I asked Joshua which movie he would like to see. "I want to see W*horehouse!" I knew that Best Little W*horehouse in Texas would not be porn so why not. Although Burt Reynolds is shameless, Dolly Parton is all about music and dancing. The young man paid our admission and Joshua sat between the two of us throwing popcorn at the young man. That was not a love connection. I wanted time with my not the wild thing. The man quickly left after the movie in search for another MILTF. Shameless, Burt - He did a nude centerfold for Cosmopolitan in 1972. I acquired a poster size picture of it and pinned in up on the ceiling above my Grandmother's bed.
