Photo Monday - All Saint's Day Instead

I worked on Halloween. I was debating on rather to come to work as some of our Wal-Mart Customers - Odd Colored Hair - Multiple Facial Piercings - Cart full of EBT Tax Payer supported Red Meat and Junk Food with enough cash for beer.

I opted to go to work as a Wal-Mart Cashier instead. My shift ended at 1030 pm. I immediately headed to a Quaker Friend's House to spend the night. We had plans to car pool to a Yearly Meeting with an Early Start. I KNOW how I am about getting up for Early Hours'

I love spending time with members of my Spiritual Community and it has just grown. Last year when Grumpy died, I told myself I will NEVER allow my job to isolate me from my Spiritual Community again. Wal-Mart was not going to allow me to have Sundays off. A few of my FRIENDS opted to have a discussion with management. Ha Ha! Now I have Sunday's off.

They were not going to give me this Saturday off but change their mind. Good thing. I would have gone anyway.

I am going to Washington DC in two weeks as a representative for the SAYMA (Southern Appalachian Yearly Meeting) at the William Penn House. I was able to connect with some Quakers who are doing to do some Lobbying that week. I think I will join them. LOL!
