It's almost Halloween.. so many of you will be meetin and greetin each other.. I certainly wish I could be there too. But no such luck..!  Maybe another time. I didn't decorate for Halloween again this year..I am usually like a kid at the holidays and have to pull out all the cute stuff. I seem to have lost the spirit. The last time I decorated was in Wisconsin. My Mom and Dad were married on Halloween... don't you know they got some rassin for that...lol. My only Son-in-law was born on Halloween...and yes he is a TREAT..!! LOVE him like he is mine..!I do hope everyone has a wonderful time and please take lots of pictures and share them...lol. We are having cooler temps here.. but we actually had 2 days of sun..!!! Hoping for a few more.. kinda makes you feel better all over seenin that yellow ball in the sky. Well time for bed ..GOD BLESS.. and have a good week..((HUGS)) to all my friends .. MARY  P.S... couldn't leave with out adding a doll picture...lol this is my GRAND OLE OPERA COLLECTION ..BARBIE as..LORETTA..REBA and KENNY and DOLLIE  Sometimes things fall apart so that other things can fall together.. ♥ .. Nice Barbies Mary. My kinda people. Hey, Im born on HALLOWEEN TOO.! Not such a problem in Australia, as we dont celebrate it much, except for some pubs having it for commercial gain. Some kids do go door knocking, but ive never encoutered any .   Hugs, Jan.

As most may have guessed I have ALWAYS been a big Halloween FAN..I have never missed dressing up even if I ws staying home passing out candy... I love it all...a little fantasy never hurts anyone...LOLMary my friend I wish you could be with us as well...another time I am sure. No doubt there will be MANY pictures to share of all the fun and silliness...I can't wait.... I arrive this Saturday for some pre-party R & R before hand. I'll miss everyone here though ...no time for blogging once the festivities begin.. Maybe before hand though. Living my life for the memories I will have....... not the regrets of what never was......

My Mom and Dad met on Halloween. For many years he used to ask her if she was going to take her mask off so he could see what she really looked like! They would both laugh. One year I asked her if it bothered her and she replied, no if he didn't say things like this I would think he didn't love me. He also used to call her "Hatchet". I asked him why and he said, it is short for hatchet face. Mom roared. They did have fun! No wonder I am warped!! May you be in Heaven a half hour before the Devil knows you're dead! Irish Blessing
