ET I'm with you you on this subject 100%! We just spent a few days of Pride Parades here! It's bad enough that Sunday was their National Pride Day but then came the naked gay men!! OMG and people actually brought their children to this fiasco plus our Prime Minister came with his wife & kids too... what an example he has set for his own children and the rest of Canada. Oh I omitted to mention that prior to Sunday, we had parades all weekend, one for LGBTQ, one for dykes and another just for gays. Did we really need 4 days of this? I am so livid when I turn on the TV & see this on 3 channels OMG. Oh and I forgot to mention that our PM wore his gay coloured socks (to match their gay flag) but with Muslim inscriptions on them to mark the end of Ramadan (almost a contradiction since Muslims would rather kill or behead gays)!!!! Talk about confusion for the masses LOL.

I have some homosexual friends. They abhor the Gay Pride parades!

They just want to live their lives...... going to work, looking after their family, cutting the grass, going to church, etc.

I think that most movements start out with good intentions, but seem to get hijacked by extremists..... sighhhh.

Why don't we just have a parade for everyone no matter what the sexual orientation? Bands, flag throwers and all. What the heck, why don't we just celebrate who we are, whatever that may be?

I just have a different perspective of these sorts of things.

Black Lives matter, Gay Pride and all those sort of things.

For me it's who it's directed at ...

To take offense, one must consider if it's directed at them. If they are not black or gay. and they believe it to be directed at them then its offensive.

I'm not black or gay...... And I know it's NOT directed at me..It's directed at blacks and gays Only blacks and gays can find it offensive

I would take offense to White Lives Matter and Straight Pride
Because, I'm White and Straight and I know it would be directed at blacks and gays, Not Me. Other whites and straight people would use it that way...

How do I know that?,, because they think Black Lives Matter and Gay Pride is used that way.

I have had gay friends in and out of my life for decades, sweet people, decent, caring human beings that would give the shirt off their back if they needed to. What I'm seeing in these gay pride parades is just plain vulgar and I think those who strip down into their little G strings need to cover it up, lol, they ain't as pretty as they think they are.

Give me those little home town parades any day, they are more fun and everyone participates.
