 I understand why you question this ET.
Why didn't he just wear a baseball cap? It would have been perfectly acceptable. Many non Jewish men wear them at the holy sites.
It surprised me that he chose to wear a yarmulke when it wasn't completely necessary to do so.

 Trump's daughter and his grandchildren are Jewish. All these religions seem to have some kind of hair phobia and always want it covered up??

 I think he wore it the same reason his wife didnt wear a hijab earlier. It was their choice.

 There's a difference between a head cover and a head case. Sometimes it's easy to confuse the two.

 Regarding 'the pig that flies' .. whatever he does at this point looks either stupid or self serving to me. In this case I have to say self serving.
