I don't understand all those Republicans who voted for Trump because he was a businessman. Why do people want their country to be run like a business?.......It makes the president the boss and the citizens employees. In a Democratic Republic the President and the government are working for the citizens.....are supposed to be representing the people, not bossing them around........The President is not the CEO of a business, he can't fire the citizens if he doesn't like their performance.....He's more like a clown who has taken over the circus..

I think Trump is displaying early signs of Dementia.....that's why Ivanka and Jarred are there.......that's what makes him such a good puppet.

America better pay attention to what's going on behind the scenes in Washington.....Trump, whose Dementia has taken him back to toddler age, has raided his toy box and is setting up his toy soldiers and war machines.....Ka Powee!!!!Bang Bang......BOOM!!!!.......Lookit the cool explosions Daddy...........Even a 3 year old knows how to distract the adults so he can play with his loud toys.........

Trump needs to figure out that we are the stockholders not the employees.

You keep placing women who you disagree with in a group and labelling the group.....why don't you do the same with the men?.....Oh, wait, there are only a couple here and you insult them individually. But the women, so much easier to group them......Now it's Spinster?......Are there really any women here who are spinsters?.......What an oddly archaic word.......As far as other men go, you seem to relate to Ranger, Moondoggie, Dan and JKH....at least as much as the women you label as a group relate to each other. The fact that you taught at the college level tells me only that some US State Colleges have very low standards.

'Criminals are immoral and must be dealt with accordingly'. It beggars belief this man (?) holds the highest office in the US.

Over 37,000 U.S. mental health practitioners have risked losing their licences by diagnosing a patient they've never met and signed an online petition stating Trump is suffering a mental illness.

I agree ET.

A few weeks ago, I read an article that said Trump is severely depressed and sits around all day in his dressing gown tweeting. Dressed up and brought out only to sign papers without even knowing what he's signing. Then they send him off out of the way at weekends.

Since there was no way to know the truth of it, I didn't post it...but it does make me wonder about his state of mind. The man puts out so much misinformation and downright lies that surely even he can't believe all of it!

He does it because he thinks calling us "spinsters" will shame us. What he doesn't realise is that all it does is to show own ignorance. Then he wonders why we laugh at his feeble wee insult!

Here's what the Oxford English dictionary has to say...

"The development of the word spinster is a good example of the way in which a word acquires strong connotations to the extent that it can no longer be used in a neutral sense. From the 17th century the word was appended to names as the official legal description of an unmarried woman: Elizabeth Harris of London, Spinster. This type of use survives today in some legal and religious contexts. In modern everyday English, however, spinster cannot be used to mean simply ‘unmarried woman’; it is now always a derogatory term, referring or alluding to a stereotype of an older woman who is unmarried, childless, prissy, and repressed"

I can't name the website here, but I think it's on cHAnge with the dot org. You can google 'petition trump mental illness' and find all the Trump petitions.

Also CNN had a segment today about how Trump keeps moving objects around on the boardroom table during all his meetings. That sure looks like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. At one meeting after Trump moves everything on the table in front of him, you can see him staring at a glass of water in front of the person next to him at the table. After minutes of what looks like agony staring at the person's glass of water, Trump reaches out and moves it.

They are limited enough to believe that our lives are what their limited experience comes up with, while we are aware of the full richness of our lives.......The Misogynist Liszt even found a self-hating misogynest woman as a life-partner.

No, I don't know, but I have some friends who are teaching at American Universities and I can't imagine that the schools that hire them, would hire Liszt.

it's gone way beyond that......they are bailing on Trump RIGHT and LEFT.

The reason it's so bad. is that as Trump loses those who support him, those who work for him, work on his behalf. He has no one he can trust to replace them.
Those who are looking out for themselves, are looking for way in, to make a name for themselves. Not by supporting but by submarining him. He has no political supporter to fill the gap. He's losing so many, by burning too many bridges.

His problem now is not his enemies...It his so-called friends.

The problem with being overly opportunistic, Is that those around you become opportunistic too.
