I love photo Friday, but I wish it did not begin to occupy the front page on Thursday. I understand the timing is different internationally, but it would be nice to put everything in sync so that the front page is dominated for just one day. No offense intended. |

There are so many other issues that we should be concerned with, this photo friday (thursday) is one of the better thing that has happened on this site for a long time, my suggestion to you is that you either do not go on the site on friday or just go to VIEW all and pass the first page... Hi E.T. Your comment is well taken. I have asked folks to confine themselves to posting on Friday -- their time -- but, as you say, time zones tend to stretch it out. My apologies. The only alternative would be to have everyone post their FF photos between the hours of 0000 hours Greenwich Time and 2359 hours Greenwich Time. Now that would cause a commotion the likes of which you've never seen, inasmuch as the majority of SFFers do not know how to convert their time to GMT.....and I wouldn't expect them to. Well guys..us down here in NZ are a day ahead of u..hence why i never post a pic..but look at yours on saturday and sort of laugh how we are all on the same planet but things are so different lol

Earthy I'm from Australia and one of those bloggers you would see on your Thursday. I think there is room for everybody, we all have to be more tolerant. I know that some Foto Friday are appearing on Sunday my time so I can see your point. Thanks for your patience.

Never having mastered the art of posting but being greatly appreciative of everyone's efforts I enjoy the posts. I can see what you mean, though. I find there are too many to look at all at the same time, so I go back several times during the days that follow to catch up.

I posted today because I am going out of town. So sorry to offend. Good grief, the blogs are taken up frequently by multiple posters, and ill-will. I will not post again on Thursday. There! I don't understand what the problem is .....if you don't want to view photos, don't open it....they are clearly marked.....if you are worried that your blogs are being shoved out......well, a blog complaining about photos takes up as much space as a photo blog.

I stick with the guidelines that I can post at your Thursday night,it is Friday morning here. So when it is Friday night here,it is Friday morning in the US, I do not know with the European countries.Some posted Saturday my day,but I understand for it is Friday night where they are. Australia and New Zealand is ahead of my time by 2 hours. So,expect some of them to post Thursday your day. Time difference is complicating huh? Hugssssssssssss! If you are doubting something, doubt your limits

No offense taken. Foto Friday consists of bloggers and many bloggers make two or more posts a day. Foto friday posters usually limit it to two per Fridy. I like it the way it is. I think the time zone differences spaces it out so I can catch it all.

I feel sorry for people who have a birthday on Friday. They sure don't get much attention because of the foto's. Otherwise I really like to see all of the photo's. Are you coning to St. Pete? I'm looking to the future and it's out of sight, only in the end shall I take flight.

Although Friday is my busiest day, Thats the nominated day, SO I COMPLY WITH IT,. WHICHEVER WAY IT GOES, WE ALL GET AT LEAST 2 DAYS OF IT. SO I JUST VIEW WHAT I CAN, AT MY LEISURE. IDE HATE IT TO BECOME A GROUP, AND WOULDNT PARTICIPATE.There are many blogs i dont read, as they dont interest me, so maybe you can just pass them by. ?  Hugs, Jan.

I have not been available to participate on Fridays so I have declined posting photos at all. YES, I enjoy them after the fact, BUT this is a blog posting site, and I have spoken to some who think this takes up too much space. Too bad you were not considerate enought to respect that. Don't go getting in too much of a twit about it! After all, it is confined to "photo friday," is it not??? Who is the one being unreasonable here?? You apparently took offense to a post that was noted "no offense". Get over it.

Wahhhh! If all the posters of foto friday did a blog of any sort on the time zone (Friday) allocated and didn't call it foto friday they would still take up the front page for a day or 2 but we wouldn't be able to use the title in the search menu. Please leave foto friday as it is, a fun time I love it.
