That was a 'Twilight Zone' episode, or one of those. Made a big impression

I've read this before, but tonight it brought tears to my eyes........ you see, every day I watch my old dog get more and more "old", and know that if she doesn't cross that rainbow bridge by herself, we may have to make that decision to help her.

I looked it up. It was "The Twilight Zone"! Season 3, Episode 19. Aired in 1962, titled "The Hunt". Don't remember when I saw it, we didn't have a TV then, but this was one of those I didn't forget. Makes me wonder about the smooth talkers promising hope and change
