When something is free to someone, someone else is usually paying for it.... except for sunshine and rain..... oh, and wild blackberries and strawberries. Those things are still free!
Now, a word about American workers............ too many of them that are protected by big unions really have a lazy work ethic and too high of pay for what they do. My daughter once worked for a company that was sent in to factories to monitor quality when their parts being shipped out were beyond the acceptable rate of defects.
In one big factory in Detroit (she couldn't say where, but she was living in Detroit) the workers were to clean their machines ever so often. My daughter's job was then to inspect the machine and run a cloth over the working section to be sure they were cleaning them. Those workers didn't care if they were clean or not or if the parts were defective or not and would just laugh when they weren't. My daughter had to record and log the instances of machines not passing inspection. But the workers didn't care..... they told her that they still make their $28 an hour, PLUS BENEFITS, whether the parts were good or not.
Not a good scenario of American union workers is it?
