This is clearly not written by any Canadian but by an American and a Republican to boot. No Canadian Top 10 of this ilk would not include (at the very top) :- No 1 Too many guns and too much gun violence No 2 Too little access to affordable health care.

What do you get for a 35,000$ plate? There better be darn good wine.

I agree with bond. Being a Canadian, most of the list would not be anything on which we would comment. I will not give you samples of things we might list because.... 1. We in Canada have our own issues with a Prime Minister who thinks he's god. 2. There are a number of Americans who can't take a joke. 3. I love ALL the American friends I've made on this site.

Hard to blame the situation in Health care which pertains and has done for as long as anyone can remember on legislation passed only a few short years and enacted for only for 2 years. There are 260,000,000 guns legally owned in the USA; it really must be hard to get one - 30 people are murdered with guns and more than 60 are wounded every day.

No. 3 would be invading small countries that pose no threat. But we and the Brits are guilty of this one as well.

No .4 would be amazement that so few Americans use electric kettles that turn themselves off when the water boils. I wonder how many fires occur each year because someone forgot there was a kettle on the stove?
