Just stumbled across this pic. Happens a lot in Australia, result of a flash flood. They have caused a lot of deaths. Never sleep in or near a dry creek bed, even if where you are looks safe, weather man can be wrong (surprise! lol). It can rain in the mountains far away and come down fast, carrying trees livestock & anything else in its path. You cant outrun it. I've seen dead cows and all sorts of debris more than 40' up in trees. Look for signs when walking through dry creeks, you can see the height of the debris from previous floods if you are in a gully or canyon. Steering wheel of Ford Falcon (about a 64-65 model) is on the right hand side and is in a gum tree, has to be Auzzie flash flood victim.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
