This is Martha Stewart's sister...just pretend and play along...ok!

There is nothing wrong with defrosting the turkey in the dryer...if it works it is ok.

Open a can of sweet potatoes, dump a handfull of brown sugar over them and a bit of butter on them, put in the oven with the more or less defrosted turkey.............aw heck forget it. Wal Mart is probably open, buy a broasted chicken, always going round and round on the on the spit in the deli at Wal Mart.

Buy a can of peas, a pre made salad, some rolls...cheaper on the day old racks. Heat them in the oven and tell folks they are freshly made.

Slice a tomato and dump a bag of teeny carrots on a plate.

Serve all this on PAPER plates. They should all match if you buy a package while you are at Wal Mart getting the broasted chicken.

OR do what we may be doing, go out to eat. We still haven't decided whether we are having the broasted chicken or going out.

Rereading this, do not put the sweet potatoes in with the turkey or you will have the saddest melted looking sweet potatoes ever! Put them in for 20 minutes before the turkey should be done..........

Good luck and keep the doctor's phone number handy.
