Are you stuck in dry dock? Did you play it safe and not take a chance? Have you lived your life risk free?

I don't think that humans were made for that sort of existence. We have not really evolved beyond our Neanderthal counterparts. It seems even an elementary diet works best on our bodies: Meat, berries, cheese (fermented or processed milk). So, why do we think that our brains have evolved much more. Maybe we don't need those wisdom teeth anymore since we don't have to chew mastadon meat. We are still geared for fight or flight in our reactions. That's why alarm clocks cause heart attacks. We are built to hit the ground running.

So why then, in human emotions do we stay reserved?

If you must start with baby steps...take a chance today.

Hi Cheryl, I am new to this site, and I admit I am afraid of taking chances. I am very cautious and reserved. I cannot even admit that I might like to meet someone who makes my heart beat again. I just look for new friends and I am afraid to take a chance on love. You have inspired me to maybe , just maybe, hope that I might push myself to take some baby steps and let down the wall I have built around myself. moon2u
