I'd like to add my congratulations, as well. It was a fantastic race, and he really did more good for international relations in the process than most of us realize.

Yes it was, Cheryl. A remarkable achievement by a remarkable man. Lance will be long remembered for what he's done as an athlete, cancer survivor, and inspiration for others. He's a living example of a classic Horartio Alger character. He's overcome incredible adversity and transformed himself into a charismatic leader, a beacon of hope for cancer victims, and a living "Point of Light" in the world.
Bravo to him. I'm happy that I had the opportunity to watch him compete and grow to be the man he's become. I first began to follow his racing career long before he ever raced in the Tour de France. He was not a very popular or particularly sportsmanlike competitor in those days.
His cancer experience had a profound effect on him in terms of much more than health. It mellowed and molded him in ways that have made him a person who is far more than just a champion athlete. He is special...very special...and I hope he's with us for a long, long time.
