Let's say that you are usually the person everyone comes to for advice. Then, let's say that you have one of those world class, life altering decisions to make.....what do YOU do?
Do you flip a coin? Do you seek a higher power?
What finally convinces you that the person who gives you advice is right? And, finally, do you just seek someone who will give you the answer you want so that you feel vindicated.......!

When I have one of those world class, life altering decisions to make I sift through the information I have, research what I don't have and make a decision. Then I pray!

I consult with trusted friends and family members.... Eventually the right answer is the one which "feels" the best....

First I try to make the decision logically, weighing all factors that I know. If that doesn't work, I flip a coin to show me where my strongest inclination lies. If it turns up with an answer that makes me cringe, I know the other choice is closer to what I want.
And finally, if I have to choose between my head and my heart, I follow my heart. That way, if it was the wrong choice, I will be quicker to forgive myself.

In my job it is not uncommon for young people, and even a few older ones, to come to me for advice. Sometimes about truely serious things. When it is seriousa decision time for me about my own life, I spend some time in meditation. So far this has worked very well for me.

Nothing has ever really phased me...I act on impulsion and then bulldoze...As you will understand, my life has had some pretty hair-raising situations within it...But here I am, soon to be 65!...lol.

Sometimes does it help to wait and see how a situation will develop without upsetting the process?
