Although the Bible says not to grow weary in well doing, I offer this: Many times, more than we can count we have had to go the extra mile. When we were tired, when sleep would be such a wonderful choice and when home would be welcoming.
But life is in the details. The stop to help a stranded motorist with a flat. The card mailed to a friend needing a kind word. The extra time it takes to hold open a door for a fellow traveler. Offering a cup of water to a shopper with a cough.
It is the way I see America...in the details. Will look for you there.

Each time you go out of your way that is not part of your scheduled plans for the day, just shows the qualities of your kindness that makes a better world to live in today! If everyone would take a step in that direction, kindness would multiply like a disease to to invade all the anger and bitterness out there. What a more joyful world it could be!

I appreciate that you go the extra mile Cheryl. Without people like you the world would not be a good place.
All hugs accepted and returned twice as tight!
