 Telling your age now, Hank. LOL. I haven't seen many big name shows, but did see Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty once at our state fair. Thinking that was in the 70s. I met Meadowlark Lemon in person at a big church conference, and have seen many great ministers at those conferences. It's kind of fun when I watch them on TV to think I have seen them in person.
Then, when Joe and I and the SFF small group would get together in Nashville, we not only got to see several big name artists, we met many of them too.
But looking back at the live performance at the state fair, the music was great, but you can see the artists so much better on TV.... and it's the music I like, not the artists.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
