Looks like a fun place to visit. Enjoyed the pictures.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I've never been to America let alone Central Park. I think I would spend much of my time watching/listening to the artists/rising stars at the free concerts too, as I love music, especially live. It's been quite a few years since I've listened to the Gypsy Kings and their lively flamenco sound.

I've been around and through a small area of central park when my son and I did the double deck bus tours of the city. I'm sure it would have been much more interesting if we had the time and I had the ability to walk around.
Joe is always telling me about the concerts that he has enjoyed, in NYC, Boston, and Charleston, SC. His favorite bragging tale is when Connie Francis asked him to dance with her at Folly Pier near Charleston.

Not interested in going to New York, but I do go to a lot of outdoor music festivals and concerts......I had a CD of the Gipsy Kings in the early 2000s when I listened to a lot of World Music.. I can imagine they generated a lot of great dynamic energy in an outdoor setting with a large appreciative audience......I was always right in front of the stage dancing my ass off......

I have been to Central Park many times. It's such a wonderful and interesting place to visit . We took the pedicab tour on some of our visits, but walking is the best way to enjoy and explore this beautiful park and all it has to offer. Great pictures.

I HATE TO THINK OF WHAT NYC WOULD BE LIKE WITHOUT CENTRAL PARK. SUCH A BIG CITY WITH ALL THOSE OPPRESSING BUILDINGS. I NEVER HAD THE TIME TO VISIT IT BUT HAVING THE TREES JUST ACROSS THE STREET FROM MY COUSIN'S BUILDING WAS REALLY PLEASANT.

Although I've been to many places in the US, I've never been to Central Park, unfortunately. But as for the Gypsy Kings, I remember them well and fondly! I believe I still have tapes of them from way back when. Unfortunately, the cars we drive today don't play those tapes. I know I should buy a DVD of them as I have other DVDs of similar music. Thanks for sharing your experience!!
